No.1 steam turbine of one company designed and manufactured by Dongfang steam turbine plant is a supercritical,single reheat,impulse type,one axis,three cylinder and four exhaust,double pressure condensing steam turbine.The model is N600-24.2/566/566 and it put into operation in January 2008.This steam turbine since its operation,there has been the problem of high rate than the design value of unit heat consumption.By adjusting the operating parameters,optimizing operation regulation mode,the heat consumption rate had been decreased.But the gap is still large.In this paper,the reasons of high heat consumption rate of this type of steam turbine are analyzed,such as the efficiency of the cylinder,the efficiency of the regulating stage and so on.The feasibility of improving the economic performance of steam turbine is discussed.Combined with the performance diagnosis unit test,analyzed the performance of the unit status and put forward the transformation of steam seal thermodynamic system optimization,the relevant parts of the turbine,improve the vacuum system optimization and improvement of a series of energy-saving optimization measures.Seal improvement in energy saving measures as important,the traditional steam turbine seal labyrinth,in order to improve the economic operation of the steam turbine,the retrofit of steam sealing were analyzed and introduced in detail the main technical characteristics of all kinds of new type steam seal,and the transformation of domestic steam seal is introduced.After a detailed analysis of the characteristics of the unit structure,the transformation scheme of the steam seal is put forward.The technical features and application of a new type steam seal were compared,and a comprehensive comparison of the reliability and economy of the two reformation schemes,determine the DAS seal,side tooth seal as the main type of seal scheme.Finally,the performance of the unit before and after energy saving optimization is compared and analyzed,through the comparison of the former state,for the same type of unit to provide technical reference and transformation experience.
