In the history of our country is a earthquake-prone country,the earthquake frequent spread to a wide range.With the rapid development of national economy in recent years,the economic consequences of the earthquake disasters increase year by year.So in the early stage of the major projects on the site seismic safety evaluation is particularly important,based on seismic safety evaluation results,to determine the seismic fortification standards.Based on the induction summary on the historical earthquake data in China,shows that the importance of seismic geological disaster assessment of major projects.And a expansion project of chemical fertilizer plant in Xianyang as the background,combined with the existing location of seismic safety evaluation theory for engineering field of regional seismicity,earthquake risk probability,soil reaction,and the ground motion parameter evaluation research:(1)Based on the project site area of inductive analysis of 00 years’ seismic datas which the probability of a magnitude of 7 earthquake between 0.33 to 0.65.The Fen-wei seismic belt has a large effect on engineering site.The seismicity research shows that the evaluation area near-zone discrete space and time distribution of seismic activity.(2)Through the evaluation of regional geology survey and study of soil layer of shear wave velocity between 150-540 m/s,the layers of soil density between 1.8-2.4kg/m3,assess the engineering earthquake site condition is good,good overall stability..(3)Engineering site probability risk analysis of exceeding probability of different cases focal distance and the equivalent magnitude,one of the smallest equivalent focaldistance is 78.62 km,the maximum equivalent magnitude is 7.30.(4)Through the study of seismic method for determining the design parameters,determine the engineering site design ground motion parameters,which is located in engineering geological disasters is evaluated..
