With the acceleration of urbanization,the urban rail transit occupies a vital position in the construction of modernization of major cities due to a number of advantages such as the large capacity for passenger transportation,green and safe energy.Ticket vending machine(TVM)is the important self-service equipment in the rail system.In view of this,the experience quality of using the machine has become the main concern of the AFC system design.According to the usability evaluation based on the user experience,this paper analyzes the existing representative TVMs in the market.On the basis of the establishment of the usability evaluation system,it analyzes all schemes and makes the optimum scheme decision ultimately.Based on the Likert five-degree scale,the questionnaire survey is carried out with the users.Taking the usability theory as the basis,the reliability,validity and correlation of the measured data are analyzed.Combined with the practical use characteristics of the TVM,the visual interface,interactive behavior,content elements,technical elements and ticket purchasing process five types of usability evaluation factors are extracted.Through the classification and induction,the influencing factors are transformed into the TVM usability evaluation indices to establish the usability evaluation system based on the user experience,which provides the framework support for the index quantization and comprehensive analysis.According to the research on the development of urban rail transit and the market situation of the TVM,four representative TVM design schemes in Beijing and Japan are selected based on the market share,technical grade,operator and other evaluation indices.A combination of the user test and performance measurement is used for the quantitative measurement of fifteen dimensions including the information visualization,element layout reasonableness,style friendliness and so on.The analysis shows the difference between China’s TVM equipment and Japan’s TVM equipment that China’s TVM equipment needs to be further optimized in the hardware response speed,type of currency identification,layout of interface elements and other aspects,while providing the quantitative data for the comprehensive correlative degree analysis in the scheme.Finally,based on the hierarchical gray correlation method,the TVM usability evaluation hierarchical model based on the user experience is established,the order of each hierarchy and the total order of hierarchies are determined.Through the data normalization and the consistency check,the final weight distribution vector of the evaluation index is obtained.On the basis of the establishment of the evaluation index matrix and the correlation coefficient,the comprehensive correlative degree of the four TVM schemes is obtained,and the order of the user experience quality is obtained by the comparison.The output results are compared with the existing brands with the AFC system for verification.The result shows that this method can be used as a usability evaluation method for the TVM equipment based on the user experience.
