In the process of globalization and urbanization, more and more Chinese cities have lost their original urban space and landscape architecture. Under this background, the city style has become a kind of "rare" resource which supports the whole city to survive, compete and develop.Based on the research situation of domestic and international research situation, the paper focuses on the classification of urban features and the elements of urban style and material carrier, and through case study to extract the main points of the city. The research object of Zhaojue, which is a mountainous city in the southwest of China, is to find the material carrier and manifestation of the national feature in urban space through the study of its natural conditions and historical culture, and the history of the development of urban construction.
