With the continuous deterioration of the atmospheric environment,the public are paying more and more attention to the auto environmental protection,the research of automobile energy saving and emission reduction is becoming increasingly important.The energy consumption of the cooling system of the automobile engine is significant,and the power consumed by the cooling fan is proportional to the three degree of the speed of the cooling fan,and the noise generated by the cooling fan is proportional to the speed of the five side.When the car engine does not need cooling,silicone oil fan clutch can greatly reduce the speed of the automobile cooling fan,the power consumption and cooling fan noise,so it can reduce the automobile pollution.As an important energy-saving,emission and noise reduction device,silicon oil fan clutch has been widely used in modern automobile.Scientists have been studying the technology of Hydroviscous drive(HVD)for more than half a century,the technology of Hydroviscous drive is also supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of china.Silicone oil fan clutch is the most important application of Hydroviscous in the automobile.Shearing force transmission torque produced by viscous liquid in silicone oil clutch,compared to other types of vehicle cooling fan drive,silicone oil fan clutch gets growing concern for its simple structure,reliable operation,energy saving and noise reduction effect.This paper is originated from "The design and characteristic research of vehicle silicone oil fan clutch",the research project of Jiangxi Province Education Department.The main content of this paper is to research the torque and speed difference characteristics of silicone oil fan clutch.Firstly,this paper establishes a mathematical model of the clutch transmission torque,which based on the mechanical analysis of the disc oil film and cylindrical oil film of the silicone oil fan clutch.Then deduces the calculation formula of the oil discharge pressure by analyzing the oil discharge characteristics of the silicone oil fan clutch.Finally,finds the reasonable combination of silicone oil parameters through the analysis of the impact of silicone oil parameters on the performance of the clutch,so it can provide some reference for manufacturers to design and improve silicone oil fan clutch.
