The Design Of Smart Home System Based On Android

Nor smart home is a name that is both familiar and unfamiliar for people,familiar with because the name has been for many years,unfamiliar because of smart home is mostly about a concept so far.Although the market have the single intelligent electronic devices,but the real systematic smart home of family as unit have not into the common people's home.why? the reason is mainly products are expensive,have no unified standard,he concept of people's life,still not catch up with and so on.But everyone believe that the day will come that the smart home will be into thousands of households.In our country,smart home market is not mature but have the huge potential.Now many manufacturers are actively being layout in the smart home industry and waiting for the outbreak of the day.This paper is based on the smart home as a hot topic,designed a family as the unit of the smart home system solutions based on Android system.The popularity of Android operating system in China has become the basis for the program to expand.This program is divided into three parts: the design of the hardware and software of the local control platform,the design of the smart phone APP,the simulation of the intelligent household appliances.For the design of the control platform,including the following steps: hardware selection,making Bootloader,Android kernel transplant,making Android source image,driver program and application program design.The local control platform interact with intelligent home appliances through WI-FI,Bluetooth and other wireless transmission module,so as to obtain their data and control rights,and then as the server communicate with the control side of the smart phone.The design of the local control platform is the most important part of this program and the core of the whole smart home system.As the remote controller of the program,the smart phone APP is used to control remotely the intelligent household Appliances the through the 4G network.For a variety of home appliances,this program use the resource of an ARM9 embedded system board to simulate,such as use the LED on the ARM9 board to simulate the Bluetooth light.Although the program is not perfect,but has very high scalability and flexibility,can be extended to various household appliances at any time,just through updating thecorresponding system and the application.
