With the vigorous development of economy Culvert is not only an important part of traffic facilities such as roads and railways,but also widely used in water conservancy projects and urban construction.The substantial growth of these projects puts forward higher requirements on its quality.Under the condition of satisfying the slope stability,the high embankment means the increase of the length of the culvert under the slope,and the proportion of this part of the project will also be larger.The calculation of the vertical earth pressure on the top of the culvert has been the focus of the engineering circles.Each theory is based on certain assumptions,and many theories need to be further improved and verified by practice.In the existing calculation theory of the earth pressure of the culvert,whether from the plane angle analysis or from the three-dimensional angle analysis,most of them only consider the lateral force of the culvert.For the culvert under the slope,the simplification is to ignore the influence of the change of the height of the fill slope on the vertical earth pressure.As a starting point this article respectively analyzes the embankment height,the internal friction angle and the slope coefficient influence of vertical soil pressure on the culvert under slope,the research contents of this paper are as follows:(1)The plane theory,a two-dimensional calculation model based on the rigid box as the research object,studied the influence of the three factors on the vertical soil pressure on the culvert under the slope,and summed up the corresponding calculation formula of vertical soil pressure.(2)Using the large finite element software ABAQUS and establishing the three-dimensional finite element model of culvert,this paper analysis different filling height,internal friction angle and the slope coefficient influence on distribution of the culvert vertical soil pressure under slope when soil is going to be elastic deformation.The results of numerical simulation are compared with the results calculated by plane theory,so as to verify whether it has consistency or corresponding regularity.(3)Establishing the three dimensional finite element model of culvert by ABAQUS software,it important to analysis the influence of different filling height,internal friction angle and slope coefficient distribution of the vertical earth pressure on culvert when soil is going to be elastic-plastic deformation.The results of numerical simulation of elastic-plastic deformation of soil are compared with the results calculated by plane theory,so as to verify whether it has consistency or corresponding regularity.
