Model-based architecture design,simulation and analysis have been the hot research field of complex products systems.Most researches in this field are focused on the first-generation system model(Structured Design Method)and the second-generation system model(Object-oriented Design Method).The third-generation system model method(Object-Process Methodology)has not well-known by the domestic researchers.The case studies of the architecture design of complex system are mainly based on the first and second generation system model methods.Warship combat system as a typical complex products system,a model based system architecture method is needed to conduct system design?simulation and analysis.This paper aimed at applying the third-edition system model method,to the whole path of architecture design,simulation and analysis for a warship anti-air combat system.The new thinking and practices can spark interests and new visions to the researchers in this field.The main contents of this paper are as follows.(1)As the method of architecture design based on the first-edition and the second-edition system model have disadvantage on holistic representation,complexity management and continuous design,we proposed a new architecture design,simulation and analysis method that based on the object-process methodology.(2)The transformation mechanism between OPM model and executable ExtendSim model is studied.The executable architecting framework is proposed,according to the semantic of the modeling elements in these two models,and then a mapping matrix between the elements in OPM and elements in the Extend Sim discrete event model is built.Based on the mapping matrix,requirements of the transforming process are fulfilled.(3)A complex system architecture simulation and analyses method is proposed,the method is based on the OPM model deduction and ExtendSim discreet simulation.In this method the architecture behavior logical analysis,the resources allocation sufficiency analysis,the needs satisfaction analysis,operational effectiveness analyses are all considered.(4)A case study of warship combat system is conducted toThe warship combat system case study is conducted to demonstrate the feasibility of The OPM-based architecture design,simulation and analysis approach.
