Public bicycle as the main short distance travel tools in the city,its advantages on convenience and speed are recognized by more and more cities,so the public bicycle service system has boomed in our country.However,with nearly 10 years of operation and development the contradictions between its public welfare and profitability,borrowing and returning bicycle in peak hours are also appeared.Firstly,the development and status of public bicycle were analyzed,including the main development course and the development situation in our country.Secondly,the access controller of door access control system was studied.Based on it,a kind of auxiliary bike return device(a new bike pile anchor)was designed which mainly used to solve the problem of returning bike.In addition,the forecasting and the layout methods of the auxiliary bike pile anchor were analyzed.The bicycle rental-borrowed data were investigated and collected.The peak times of the investigated site were known by analyzing the above data using circular distribution method.To predict the bicycle returning demand on the site in the coming year,the parking turnover rate and bicycle returning demand of the above site were calculated.Finally,this paper puts forward the principles and basic methods of the layout of auxiliary bike pile anchors.And based on the investigation and analysis of the characteristics of the public bicycle trip on the actual rental site in Taiyuan,the number and layout of auxiliary bike pile anchor are calculated using the methods.
