Heliostat is a very important part in tower solar thermal power generation,which is the energy aggregating devices that gather solar radiation to absorbing tower,heliostat face shape will determine the reflected sunlight's position,so the heliostat face shape detection is very important.Existing methods of detected tower heliostats exist for a variety of problems,therefore,an urgent need for a way to faster,more efficient detection heliostat mirror shape.In this paper,the problem of detection difficult for large heliostats(100 square meters),by analyzing some of the limitations of fringe reflection method,and do improvement to it,proposed a method of using image processing technique to detect surface shape,trying to achieve on-site detection after the heliostat mirror installation.Plan redesigned the structure of the detection device,the calibration plate placed in front of the test mirror,then aligned the calibration plate center and the test mirror center,camera placed in the center of the calibration plate,the calibration pattern on calibration plate is using annular ring,by photographing the calibration plate image in the heliostats,according the image deformation to calculate the mirror surface.Using Microvision MV-3000UV industrial camera capture the raw image,using the related image processing algorithms to do image preprocessing in PC,included graying,binarization,morphological processing and connected component labeling,obtaining the physical distance from markers to center of the image in the image,according the derived imaging formula torecalculated the spatial coordinates point of mirror,and iterative the results,and continuous optimization results,and finally through the simulation to validate the feasibility of the whole approach.In this paper,after the theoretical verification is completed,by combining the actual environment of the project,under the outdoor sunlight and other interference,the calibration pattern using LED lights instead of the annular ring,improved anti-jamming capability,and the LED lights can detect at night,and improve the efficiency of the mirror field.
