Marine diesel engine is a typical complex product,with a large volume,complex structure,parts and more features,compared with the traditional product assembly with high assembly accuracy,the assembly process to the characteristics of manual operations,the assembly process throughout the manufacturing process withabigproportion.At present,the domestic marine diesel engine assembly process design commonly used two-dimensional design and manufacturing model,the information transmission depends on two-dimensional pattern,the site workers need a lot of time to understand the information on the drawings,bring highrework rate,low production efficiency.Therefore,the research on the definition of assembly information of marine diesel engine based on MBD has a positive effect on changing the designmodel of marine diesel engine,and also supports the development of modern manufacturing technology in China.The main research contents and achievements are as follows:(1)According to information expression requirements ofthe assembly model in the different assembly stages,using new information organization and expression method,the marine diesel engine assembly model is divided into engineering MBD model and process MBD model.The assembly MBD dataset is analyzed,and the functions of each stage in the assembly process are described.The information content is classified and organized,the current information transmission mode is changed,the efficiency of the 3D assembly process design is improved,and the existing design and manufacturing model Has an important role in promoting.(2)To solve the problem of the lack of three-dimensional digital definition application specification for the assembly MBD datasets at the present stage,establishing MBD technology application framework,and fully understanding the existing MBD technical standards,combined with the actual requirements of marine diesel engine assembly information definition,establishing MBD technology application specification system of such products.(3)Aiming at the information organization requirement of the three-dimensional assembly process design of marine diesel engine,the object modeling of the assembly process information model is studied.According to the three-dimensional visualization assembly process design,the assembly process design function model of the product is constructed under the integrated environment.On the basis of the unified analysis of the process,the product information model meta-object is abstracted and the information elements of the meta-object are abstracted.Based on the visualization requirements,the expression mechanism of MBD technology as technology information carrier is constructed.(4)On the basis of theoretical analysis,programming a set of digital definition system of assembly information according to the actual demand of marine diesel engine assembly information definition process.The system is run under the three-dimensional assembly process planning and simulation platform.Taking the assembly process design of the diesel engine cylinder part as an example,the assembly information definition system verifies its practicability and reliability,and lays a foundation for the future design and manufacture of this kind of products,and makes a useful exploration for the application of MBD technology.
