There are many second or third class highway to the construct such as in county-level areas,mountainous areas,alpine areas border areas and so on.Wheeled paver are widely used in these highway pavement because the paver has advantages of fast transition,strong mobility and easy to operate.However,compared to the crawler paver,the adhesion of wheeled asphalt paver is relatively small,and their driving wheels may slip easily.At present,there isn’t mature and more than 9m large-scale wheeled asphalt paver product in domestic.Therefore,the research to driving technique of wheeled paver is particularly necessary.The driving system of 9m wheeled asphalt paver is studied in this paper.The basic parameters related to the driving system are researched,such as the quality of the paver,the front axle load,the engine power,the rated slip rate,the maximum operating speed and the maximum travel speed.According to the analysis of large wheeled paver operating characteristics and the use of requirements,the main hydraulic system scheme of double pump-double motor and the auxiliary hydraulic system scheme of open center load sensing system are designed to enhance the overall traction performance,and the principle of hydraulic system is given.The principle of free front wheel,rear wheel synchronization,front wheel synchronization and front and rear wheel synchronization are analyzed in detail.The component parameters are calculated and the components are selected.Based on the analysis of the kinematics and dynamics of the paver driving system,the matching speed of the front and rear wheels is analyzed.Based on AMESim software,the main hydraulic driving system,the auxiliary hydraulic driving system and the total hydraulic driving system of the wheeled paver are respectively modeled and simulated,and the feasibility of the designed system is verified.
