| The SBS modified asphalt obviously improved the mechanical properties and temperature susceptibility of asphalt,and significantly improved the quality of the pavement usage.With the country’s strong support for highway transportation and the development of SBS modified asphalt technology,SBS modified asphalt is widely used in the construction and maintenance of modern high-grade highway.The growing use of SBS modified asphalt and the improvement of engineering quality requirements,need us to further analyze and study the new production equipment suitable for different modified asphalt requirements,and improve the existing production equipment.Therefore,the structural design and simulation research of the key production equipment of SBS modified asphalt are very important.Based on the deeply analysis of the modified mechanism and production process of SBS modified asphalt,we researched the stirring and mixing problems of SBS modifier and matrix asphalt.Taking the 4000 asphalt mixing equipment as an example to design and calculation the mixing tank,determine the structural parameters of the mixing tank.The flow field in the mixing tank installed with different agitators is simulated by using CFD software FLUENT and multiple reference system.The mixing condition in the tank is obtained through analyzing the axial velocity,radial velocity and tangential velocity of the flow field.By comparing and analyzing the four straight blade agitator and four incline blade agitator with single layer,it is concluded that the four incline blade agitator can be well stirred in the bottom of the mixing tank.Straight-upper-gradient-lower agitator was designed and analyzed by the combination of advantages of straight blade and inclined blade,by comparing and analyzing with the four straight blade agitator and four incline blade agitator with double layer,the results show that the straight-upper-gradient-lower agitator can be well stirred in the bottom of the mixing tank and the circle area between the upper and lower agitator is basically connected which concluded that the mixing uniformity is better and when stirring the whole mixing effect is relatively good.In order to study the influence of the distance between the lower agitator and the bottom of the tank,the pitch of the agitator and the rotating speed on the mixing effect of the straight-upper-gradient-lower combined agitator.The layout and structure of agitator in the stirred tank were obtained through simulating and analysing these different factors.This paper has certain reference significance to the research of mixing tank. |
