Study On The Traveling Characteristics Of Medium-sized Urban Residents And The Best Sharing Rate Of Public Transport

With the continuous development of China's economy and the progress of urbanization,traffic congestion has become one of the major problems facing China's urban development.In order to alleviate the urban traffic congestion,the cities are trying to implement the bus priority development strategy,at present,China's medium-sized cities due to non-motor vehicle travel accounted for a large proportion,resulting in lower share of public transport.Therefore,according to the characteristics of medium-sized cities,it is one of the important research topics to make the bus travel and other modes of travel effectively and reasonably determine the best public transportation share rate.This paper first analyzes and summarizes the current research status of residents' travel characteristics and bus sharing rate at home and abroad.On the basis of the existing research,this paper clarifies the research ideas and methods.Firstly,this paper analyzes the land use,economy,population and road characteristics of medium cities in China,and determines the sample cities to be selected.Through the field investigation,the data of the residents' travel characteristics are analyzed and the main factors influencing the residents' travel;Secondly,the intensity of the residents 'travel is analyzed,and the data are analyzed by SPSS software.The main influencing factors of residents' travel intensity are obtained,and the relationship model is established,and the practicability of the model is verified;Thirdly,the generalized cost function is proposed,the calculation method of the generalized cost function is clarified,the generalized cost of different travel modes is calculated,the influencing factors of bus sharing rate are analyzed,and the sensitivity analysis is carried out;Finally,considering the optimal sharing rate of the bus,a two-objective function model based on generalized cost and congestion degree is established.Using the optimization theory,the MATLAB software is used to plot and calculate the best share rate of the bus.For example,according to the model calculated Zhongshan City,the best share of the bus rate of 16.38%,9.08% higher than that of 7.3%,and the generalized cost of public transportation is 3.09 yuan,which is 34.5% lower than that of 4.72 yuan %.
