Highway passenger transport is flexible,convenient and quick transportation method,which occupies an important position in the comprehensive transportation system.However,in recent years,with the development of society and economic construction,as well as the improvement of people's living standards,people have increasingly diversified travel modes and travel needs.In addition,under the background of the development of high-speed railways,the deficiencies of highway passenger transport in capacity and environmental protection have been magnified,which results in losing their competitive advantage gradually.Passenger flow gradually shifts from highway passenger transport to the railway.This phenomenon not only changes the configuration of road passenger transport resources,but also changes the structure and accessibility of urban road networks.The accessibility of the intercity passenger transport network determines the closeness of social and economic of the city of departure and the destination city,and accessibility is an evaluation indicator of social and economic development.It is imperative to investigate the status of highway passenger transportation under the influence of high-speed railways,and clarify its development trend,and then propose a resource optimization plan.In order to clarify the development trend of highway passenger transport under the influence of high-speed railways,and passengers' changes in the choice of travel modes and changes in the accessibility of intercity road networks,this paper proposes a accessibility evaluation method based on generalized travel costs.A total of 55 nodes in three jurisdictions of the typical urban area of Zhaoqing City Guangdong Province were selected as the departure point,and 51 nodes in Guangzhou City were selected as destinations.Travel costs,travel time,and general travel expenses were selected as evaluation indicators to construct a comprehensive evaluation model by using ArcGIS software.Then the convenience of travel and accessibility of road network in various regions of Zhaoqing City was evaluated.On this basis,some suggestions were put forward for the development of passenger transportation in the region,with a view to improving the accessibility of passenger transport networks and improving the quality of passenger transport services.The evaluation system proposed in this paper can also provide important reference for the follow-up evaluation of passenger transport network accessibility research.
