In recent years,the surge of urban motor vehicles in number and the urban road network traffic pressure have resulted in a large number of traffic congestion problems and traffic accidents.How to optimize and control the urban traffic situation through traffic coordination has become one of the most urgent subjects in traffic development.As an important part of urban control system,whether urban traffic trunk system is smooth or not directly affect the entire road network smoothly,orderly and safely in operation.In the determination of signal timing and parameters of urban trunk signal coordination system,it is of great significance to consider the traffic safety factors to ensure the traffic safety and traffic efficiency in the coordination system of trunk signal.For the safety of the trunk signal coordination system,the psychological and physiological changes of the driver are the root causes of their security risks.In this paper,the trunk signal coordination system is regarded as the main research object,considering the traffic safety of the trunk signal system,the driver's psychological and physiological changes,the existing trunk signal control methods are designed excellently.To begin with,in this paper it not only systematically expatiates and summarizes the applicable conditions and control objectives of urban trunk traffic signal coordination by analyzing the development of urban trunk signal coordination system at present but also analyzes the existing coordinated control method of urban trunk traffic signal.Besides,it also summarizes and analyzes the problems existing in the trunk signal coordination system.Furthermore,it analyzes the relationship between the traffic safety characteristics of the urban road trunk signal coordination system and the time of the headway,and designs a detailed test program to investigate the characteristics of the headway time coordination of the trunk signal coordination system.After analyzing the test data,the result is as follows: the headway distance can be more comprehensive to characterize the psychological and physiological changes of the driver in the trunk signal coordination system.In addition,the applicability of bi-level planning in the field of transportation and its basic model are discussed in detail.Considering the double-level goal of the traffic benefit and traffic safety,the model of the coordinated control of urban road trunk signal coordination for traffic safety is constructed and it is programmed for the design of security-oriented bi-level based on genetic algorithm.Finally,three different signal control schemes are developed.With the help of traffic simulation software(VISSIM),the simulation platform is used to analyze and compare the average delay,queuing length and average vehicle parking number of the three schemes.The results show that the coordinated control scheme of urban trunk signal cannot only meet the requirements of traffic safety but also have little effect on traffic efficiency and satisfy the feasibility.
