| As a common method to evaluate traffic safety,traffic conflict technology is rarely used in traffic signal control as the basis of traffic signal control.In practical application,the traffic environment is relatively complex,so the arterial traffic signal coordination models are often established in an ideal environment without considering too many interference factors.In this paper,the optimization of arterial traffic signal coordination method is studied by considering the conflict interference of vehicles at intersections.After obtaining vehicle data at intersections in real time,according to the conflict information,the signal coordination control model of arterial traffic flow is optimized.In the first place,the existing traffic flow data extraction techniques were compared.A traffic flow data extraction method of video based on mixed gaussian model was proposed to derive the conflict information at the intersection.The traffic flow,speed and trajectory data can be obtained by this.The collected data can not only be used as the basic data for calibrating parameters of the model,but also used to detect real-time traffic conflicts and becomes the basis for trunk coordination and control optimization.And then a conflict detection method based on vehicle trajectory was proposed to analyze real-time data acquired from video,such as vehicle speed,position and trajectory.Real-time monitoring and conflict determination were carried out for potential conflicting vehicles,and conflict data are recorded in this process.After determining the main conflict sources between vehicles at arterial coordinated control intersections,the delay principle of the conflict between right-turning traffic flow and straight-going vehicles was analyzed,and then the delay model of arterial traffic flow interfered by confluence conflict was established.The arterial traffic signal coordination model with conflict interference considered was established with the minimum average delay of vehicles interfered by conflict and minimum number of vehicles encountering red light as objective function,and offset and green bandwidth as independent variables,which takes the impact of conflict interference and queuing at red light into account.The genetic algorithm was used to solve Pareto optimal solution of the dual objective model.In order to verify the effectiveness of the model,the simulation scheme was designed.The traditional arterial traffic signal coordination and arterial traffic signal coordination method considering the conflict interference were simulated respectively and the simulation results were analyzed.The effectiveness of the arterial traffic signal coordination method considering the conflict interference is proved by the results. |
