With the continuous advancement of China's urbanization process and the continuous renewal and application of electrical technology, the construction of smart city has become an important demand for urban development and enhancement of the core competitiveness. Intelligent building, which involves smart home, security monitoring, digital life, as well as intelligent residential development phase,will be moving to the fast track, so it also makes the community's electrical and intelligent control facing a higher level of requirements.The research object of this subject is the Huaishi- Wenhuawan community---- a intelligent community where automation, personalization, information technology and energy saving, and many other features are developed with a collection of research and development of the actual situation at home and abroad. On the basis of the community load level and the calculation of its load, this paper has a definite requirements on the power line access, transformer selection, as well as the selection of high and low voltage devices and the design of the corresponding distribution system. Secondly, the distribution voltage and low-voltage power supply mode is determined. By using intelligent lighting system selection and calculation, the light source and lighting is selected and the leakage fire alarm system is designed. the lightning protection and grounding system are designed, and the different lightning protection strategy and information technology strategy are used.Thirdly, the development of community security monitoring system is introduced, and the design of the system, telephone communication system and cable TV system is introduced in this paper. On this premise, the lay-out of the fire alarm device is designed, and the scientific fire control center is established. Under the unified command of the fire control center, linkage control on the water pump, fire shutter doors, smoke exhaust fan, elevator is achieved by using the fire detector, alarm controller, acousto-optic alarm and other auxiliary facilities.
