With the rapid development of the society,there are many problems such as traditional fossil energy crisis and urban traffic congestion taking place.Environmental protection becomes more and more important.Electric bicycle has been used widely all over the world,which is one of common vehicle in our daily life.But it consumes too much power to hinder the development of electric bicycle.An intelligent charging system that charge for electric bicycle's battery by transforming endless solar energy to electricity not only alleviates the pressure of the energy effectively but also improves the charging efficiency and extends the battery using life.Intelligent solar battery charging controller for electric bicycle includes solar photovoltaic systems and battery charger systems.The former can only satisfy the requirements of the charge and control optimally by designing software correction and hardware correction reasonably,DC/DC boost circuit modules of hardware and MPPT control algorithm modules of software included.The later can only improve the charging efficiency and extend the battery using life by reasonable charging strategies,functional modules of hardware and the management strategy modules of charging and discharging of storage battery.Both,this paper designs a simple,practical and efficient intelligent solar battery charging controller for electric bicycle.This paper is mainly as follows:Firstly,for the DC/DC boost circuit modules,the article compared and analyzed three DC/DC circuits to select Boost booster circuit used in the boost circuit.Then the article calculated parameters of its parts of Boost circuit and selected,doing simulation and experimental verification.To overcome the insufficiency of the result,the article designed the PI close-loop compensate controller.Finally,the article proved accuracy of the designed boost circuit modules,feasibility of this circuit and stabilization of the system.Secondly,for MPPT control algorithm modules,the article studied the output characteristics of photovoltaic system and common MPPT algorithm.Both,the article proposed a method named intelligent disturbance observation to realize maximum power point tracking(MPPT)and designed simulation and experimental verification.The article got the conclusion that MPPT control algorithm can track the max power point effectively meanwhile the precisionof controlling and the speed of tracking is good too.In addition,it solves to some extent the false results of traditional algorithm,improving the accuracy and practicability of algorithm.Finally,for storage battery charge and discharge modules,the article studied the inner structures and charging mechanism of the battery.The article combine the characteristics of photovoltaic power generation system with the existing charging method for the battery to put forward a kind of intelligent control strategy for charging and discharging,doing simulation and experimental verification.The article conformed the possibility for designing and the high-efficiency of charging.
