| With the improvement of people’s living standards,the demand of the living environment quality has been significantly increasing.So that air conditioning system is a very important aspect to improve the indoor environment.At present,the mostly used air conditioning system is the primary air & fan-coil system and split-type air-conditioning system.As for the office buildings people generally apply split air-conditioning in the old buildings.On the other hand,in the new buildings,the primary air & fan-coil system is adopted more frequently.In this paper,the main problems of building air-conditioning system are that if it is not within the specified time,the AC units will be closed.Even if there is no a considerable needing for heating or cooling load.In the prescribed time to open the AC units,when there is no a considerable number of people need cooling / heating,the fan coils are turned off while the host is still running.Host energy consumption accounts for a large part of the entire air-conditioning system energy consumption,which resulted in a waste of energy.The aim of this paper is to balance the relationship between energy inputs and the working environment.These two systems have their own advantages and disadvantages.This paper takes an office of a university laboratory building as an example.Comparing the two kinds of air-conditioning systems in the initial investment,operating energy consumption simulation,operation and management costs,depreciation costs.(investment interest are economically quantified)The main conclusions of the paper are as following:(1)The main influencing factors of the input power of split-type air-conditioners are outdoor temperature,indoor temperature and air-conditioning setting temperature.From which the theoretical solution of air-conditioner input power is deduced;(2)The conclusion is that the initial investment of the fan-coil system is muchhigher than that of the split-type air-conditioning system.(3)For the specific building,the split-type air-conditioning system has a little higher energy consumption than the fan coil system;(4)The fan coil system and split air-conditioning system life cycle is different.Although the initial investment and operating costs of the fan coil system is higher than the split system,due to different life expectancy,the final annual cost of them are pretty similar;(5)Split air-conditioning to serve buildings like colleges and universities in which teachers and students use time is inconsistent is not fixed is very effective.In specific buildings,split-type air-conditioning can be a good coordination between energy consumption and working environment.Air-conditioning systems of a building should be chosen according to geographical,construction area,personnel use.The result of this paper has a significant influence to the office buildings in the energy consumption,initial investment,comfort and other aspects of the air conditioning systems. |
