Intelligent Electronic Signs And Road Information Interactive System

We often encounter a variety of abnormal road conditions when we drive the vehicle on the road,such as soaked road,frozen road,temporary road maintenance,fault vehicle obstruction,high temperature of the road,etc.,which easily leading to traffic accidents.In order to solve such a problem,the design of an intelligent electronic signs and the road information interactive system is proposed,which can detect abnormal road information in real time and display it on the LED display screen,and can broadcast the abnormal information of the ahead road to the passing drivers.Then the drivers can pay attention to the danger in advance and drive the vehicle carefully,which can reduce the traffic accidents caused by abnormal condition of the road.Firstly,this paper analyzes the perceptual demand,communication demand and display requirement of road information,and proposes the frame of the road information interactive system,and then designs the five components of the system detailedly,which including roadside unit,electronic sign unit,on-board unit,gateway unit and monitoring center.Road side unit is responsible for detecting abnormal road information,and sends it to the electronic sign unit through wireless technology.The electronic sign unit receives information from the roadside unit and the monitoring center and displays it on the LED display,and broadcasts it to the passing vehicle via wireless technology.The on-board unit receives the wireless data from the electronic sign,and warms the driver by voices and characters.Gateway unit is the transfer station of information between electronic sign unit and the monitoring center.The monitoring center collects the road information of all the electronic signs,dispatches the abnormal road information uniformly,analyzes the historical data and provides road maintenance information.Finally,the actual test shows that the road information gathering function,the wireless data communication function and the LED displaying function meet the system requirements,and the distance of wireless communication can satisfy the system performance.
