| Throughout the research status at home and abroad,experts and scholars have achieved certain results in the visual recognition of traffic signs,the layout design of traffic signs,and the evaluation of traffic sign information recognition.However,the research on the validity of logo layout information is not perfect.The validity of road sign information refers to whether the driver’s understanding of the road sign layout information is correct and whether it meets the comprehensive evaluation index of his psychological expectations.The validity of the road sign information reflects whether the information type and information arrangement of the road sign layout is easy to understand,and whether the road sign information meets the psychological expectations of the driver.This paper from the perspective of visual cognition characteristic of driver,based on the theory of human factors engineering,information understanding,satisfies the expected level,to adapt to the degree of information,information as quantitative indexes such as correlation degree,discusses the nature of the direction sign information,the driver the relationship of the characteristics and information availability,and quantitative evaluation model is set up.Firstly,the paper from the direction sign page layout characteristics,from the aspects of information classification,basic elements and the information level of generalization of direction sign information,lists the direction sign page content and arrangement of the domestic typical city form,analyses the direction sign information expression and the degree of match road users access to information.Secondly,the correlation and general law between the layout information of road signs and drivers’ cognition were explored through the understanding experiment of road signs information.The results show that the layout of information has a suggestive effect on drivers’ judgment of the actual road network layout and road direction.Through the psychological anticipation experiment of road sign information,the difference of drivers’ demand for different road information was sought.Through the correlation experiment of layout information,this paper studies the correlation of information rows among different levels,and seeks for the information arrangement that conforms to the law of driver identification.Thirdly,combining the principle of human factors engineering,this paper selects four key indicators that influence the information effectiveness of urban road indication signs,calculates the index weight with CRITIC method,and then establishes a quantitative evaluation system for the information effectiveness of urban road indication signs.Finally,the paper selects the layout of the road signs in different areas of China as the research object,calculates the effectiveness of the sign information through the design of indoor simulation experiment,and makes a comparative analysis.In this paper,a more reasonable evaluation system is constructed by studying the evaluation index of the effectiveness of the information of road signs.The model can effectively evaluate the effectiveness of the information of road signs.It provides a new idea for the information selection and layout design of road signs. |
