Container transport opens a new chapter in the development of modern logistics,which is an important symbol of modern logistics.However,the increasing annual container throughput and the development trend of large-scale ship also put forward new requirements for China's container terminals.Aiming to develop well in a new round,the container terminal has to improve their service level,operational efficiency and management level.In the process of container terminal operations,the yard trucks,as important basic tools,play an important role between the harbor and the yard based on the use of large,flexibility,relatively low cost and other characteristics.At the same time,as storage and transshipment base depot,the yard has an important influence on yard truck scheduling.In this paper,the scheduling problem of the yard truck is studied,which aims to shorten the residence time of the container in a port and improve the working efficiency of a port,so as to realize the optimal allocation of the port resources and enhance the competitiveness of the port.Under the support of National Natural Science Foundation(Grant Numbers: 71571120,71271140,71471158)and Guangdong Province Natural Science Foundation(Gant Number: 2016A030310074),this paper has carried out the following research.Firstly,this paper takes into account the characteristics of the dynamic changes of the storage space of the yard,including the change of the amount of the storage location and the storage location themselves,and puts forward two transportation strategies,including ‘advanced backward' and ‘first in,first out'.And then the model of yard truck scheduling with dynamic change of available storage location is established.Secondly,the problem of yard truck scheduling is further developed.Based on the idea of "re-entering and re-sending out",the paper sets up the scheduling scheme of the import and export containers,and establishes the yard truck scheduling model with a cooperative scheduling strategy.The cooperative scheduling strategy does not regard the truck as an independent individual,but rather as a cluster that can assist each other.The strategy mainly takes the advantage of the cooperation of the trucks,and effectively reduces the no-load rate in the process of operating,thus improving the efficiency of the truck scheduling.Finally,the particle swarm optimization algorithm and its improved algorithm are used to solve this NP-hard problem.By establishing the mapping relation,the applicability of the particle swarm optimization algorithm to this discrete problem is ensured.The performance of the model and algorithm is analyzed by some instances,and the results of CPLEX simulation are introduced to compare.The results show that the proposed model has some guiding significance to solve the problem of yard truck scheduling in container terminal.
