With the development of society and the improvement of people's living standard,the power system scale and capacity increasing,put forward higher requirements on the reliability and fault location,isolation,repair and other aspects of the work of distribution network.Smart grid has become the inevitable trend of the development of power grid technology,and the research of automatic fault location technology is a basic work to ensure the safe and reliable operation of the smart grid,which has important practical significance.In this paper reviews the current research status of fault section location based distribution network at home and abroad,aiming at the characteristics of fault location method,information distribution network distribution network fault section,using the global optimization ability of bat algorithm to locate fault section of distribution network search,build distribution network model suitable for in-depth study of a variety of fault positioning.Based on the analysis of the basic bionic principle of the bat algorithm,combined with the structural characteristics of the distribution network,the appropriate switching function and evaluation function are established,and the bat algorithm is applied to solve the fault location problem of the distribution network.Through the simulation of single point of simulation,multi-point fault simulation and fault simulation with information distortion,it shows that the bat algorithm can locate the fault.In many runs the simulation program found in some cases will fall into the local optimal solution.This paper introduces the cellular automata,which uses the definition rules of the cells and their neighbors to repeat the local interaction in the local optimization process to realize the global optimization effect.And enhances the diversity of the bat algorithm in the search process,improves the global optimization ability of the algorithm,and can get the global optimal solution well.At the same time,in order to improve the optimization speed of the bat algorithm,the inertia function coefficient is introduced,and the convergence speed of the bat algorithm is accelerated and the positioning accuracy is higher by changing the inertia function coefficient.The simulation and analysis of the different fault conditions of the distribution network and the situation of information distortion are carried out by using the simulation software MATLAB.Through the analysis of the bat algorithm and the cellular bat algorithm,it is shown that the improved cellular bat algorithm has the advantages of fast convergence and high accuracy,and the bat algorithm has better convergence and fastness than the particle swarm algorithm.Which provides a certain reference value for the further study of fault location of distribution network.
