| Steel silo design philosophy lies in solving a lot of powder,granule and other storage issues,it solves the technical problems of general concern of large diameter floor,low delivery rate,poor homogenization effect and the equipment can not be maintained and replaced in the storage.Steel silo also possesses the superiority of large reserves,economic investment,rapid construction speed,high delivery rate,good homogenization performance,easy replacement and maintenance of equipment within the library,small energy consumption,safe and reliable operation,and it could achieve automatic control and long service life etc.However,as an emerging industry,steel silo is still a lack of systematic management concepts and the corresponding national code in development process.Based on the concrete steel silo construction projects of 10 50,000 cubic meters fly ash steel silos of Inner Mongolia Hongjiang Group,100,000 cubic meters fly ash project of Shanxi Taigang Group and 4 50,000 cubic meters fly ash project of Shenhua Guohua,etc,in accordance with the problems existing in the design and construction of steel silo,the following contents are mainly studied in this paper:(1)Environmental protection is an important indicator to evaluate the structural design of steel silo.Considering the relationship between steel silo and natural environment at design time and implementing environmentally conscious design of steel silo structure to improve the quality of construction.Using lightweight materials and others in steel silo to address the phenomenon of energy shortage.In view of the weakness of the stiffening rib and the waste of material properties in steel silo design,it is proposed that the design method of increasing the grade of some stiffening ribs and using the variable section stiffener should be adopted.(2)The finite element analysis model of steel silo with an actual engineering is established,and the stress and deformation of steel silo components are analyzed,the causes of the maximum stress and deformation are explained and the optimal design suggestions are given for the maximum stress and deformation.To enhance the overall coordination of steel silo structure and prevent instability or collapse through the optimization design,under the premise of fully consideration the economy of construction.(3)The finite element method is used to analyze the influence of stiffening ribs with different geometrical dimensions and different material properties on the structural characteristics of steel silos.(1)Longitudinal stiffening rib can substantially reduce the stress in the contact between steel silo wall and foundation and the maximum stress also decreased;(2)The arrangement of longitudinal stiffeners can reduce the stress fluctuation of the steel silo wall,so that the stress of the steel silo wall decreases steadily and the fatigue caused by the stress change is reduced;(3)Ring stiffenening rib can reduce the value of maximum stress and the downward section stress. |
