Gear has been widely used in various industries as one of the most extensively used transmission type.With the development of science and technology,the unique transmission characteristics of non-circular gears have attracted the attention of scholars,while,the deformed elliptical gear is a new kind of non-circular gear who based on elliptical gear.The deformed elliptical gear combines the transmission characteristics of elliptical and high-order elliptical gears.This feature allows the gear pair to be used to convey the alternating load,to achieve variable speed drive.So that there is potential application prospects in the automotive,engineering machinery and aerospace and other fields.Therefore,it is necessary to analyze and study the meshing theory and transmission characteristics of deformed elliptical gears,which is of great theoretical significance.This subject took deformed elliptical gear as the research object.According to the basic meshing theory of deformed elliptical gear,the design and calculation method of the pitch curve and curvature radius were derived.The three-dimensional model of the gear pair was established,and the modal analysis of the gear pair model was carried out to determine the inherent characteristics of the gear.Analyzes the theoretical transmission characteristics of the gear pair,compares the motion simulation results with the theory,and further clarifies the transmission characteristics of the gear pair.Finally the motion characteristics of the gears and the slider-crank mechanism were analyzed,and the pitch curve of the deformed elliptical gear pair was designed according to the specific transmission requirements.Firstly,based on the basic meshing principle of non-circular gears,the theory of deformed elliptical gears was analyzed and derived,and the three-dimensional model was established.In order to facilitate the design of gear pair and the future manufacture,the gears should be identical.Secondly,the finite element model of the gear pair were established.Modal analysis of the gear were finish in the ANSYS Workbench,and their vibration mode and frequency were obtained.The influence of the different tooth widths on the inherent characteristics of the gear were compared and analyzed,which can provides theoretical support for the future fault diagnosis of gear system.The static model of the gear pair was established,the calculation formula of relevant static parameters was analyzed and derived to obtain its static characteristics,and the tooth bending fatigue strength and tooth contact fatigue strength were introduced,which provide reference for its static analysis.Finally,the kinematic characteristics of the gear pair were analyzed,and the influence law of eccentricity,driven wheel number and denaturation coefficient on gear transmission characteristics was discussed.And in the motion simulation software to carry out the simulation of its movement on the other hand reflects the correctness of gear design.The gear pair was connected with the crank slider mechanism to form a combination mechanism to study the transmission law and obtain the kinematic characteristics of this mechanism.After the above research,which make the theory of deformed elliptical gears more perfect,and then through the modal and simulation analysis,statics,kinematics research,clear the gears of the transmission characteristics for the future gear industrial applications provide a theoretical basis.
