Cement concrete pavement is characterized with the advantages such as high strength,sound stability,high temperature resistance,abrasion resistance,etc.As a result,it is widely used in the early highway construction in China.With the increase of service life,a considerable part of the cement concrete pavements have run up to or exceeded their design period.with varying degrees of damages,they have been unable to meet the urgent requirement of the rapid development of economy and the demand of the social public to the road traffic capacity and travelling comfort.therefore,it is inevitable to maintain or reconstruct the old cement concrete pavements.Crushing technology,Crack and Seat are the two of the effective methods in old cement concrete pavements rehabilitation.However,the engineering application shows that the long-term effects of the two kinds of reconstruction techniques are not satisfactory,with the reflective pavement cracks and cutting slippage often occurring in the pavement structure.For the disadvantages of Crushing technology and Crack and seat,Slice-Cracks and Recycling of cement concrete pavement creatively proposes that the cement concrete pavement broken after regeneration intends to achieve the best standard,namely "surface cracked but not broken plate,stability but undulate",effectively solving the problem of the reflective pavement cracks and cutting-slippage of the pavement structure broken after regeneration.In the case of the S325(Xi Dian Zi-Liang Ning junction)highway overhaul project,By collecting information,we surveyed the pavement condition,subgrade condition and structural strength of the rial pavement section on site to provide the basis for the old cement concrete pavement overhaul.Based on the theoretical analysis,we judged the main causes of the main diseases on the old cement concrete pavement.Directing against the disease types of the old pavement,we proposed three kinds of reconstruction schemes and comparatively analysed the economic performance of the three schemes,presenting that it is necessary for the project to be reconstructed by Slice-Cracks.Then we put forward the construction standards of Slice-Cracks,with reference to the relevant construction experience.According to the features of the project,we put forward the structural style of overlay,through theoretical analysis and calculation software,then tested and analyzed the pavement performance of the overlay material.Finally,referring to the existing construction experience,we put forward the construction technology and construction process of Slice-Cracks and Recycling of cement concrete pavement.Combined with the concrete construction process of the test section,we studied the crushing quality of Slice-Cracks and the result of overlay construction.The engineering practice shows that Slice-Cracks and Recycling of cement concrete pavement is able to greatly improve the quality of the road,effectively solve the reflective cracking and cutting-slippage of overlay,and prolong the service life of the road,with good economic benefits and social benefits.
