Traffic congestion and environment pollution are becoming serious "urban diseases",affecting people's lives and means of transportation.In response to the Party Central Committee's priority in the development of public transport,people are paying more and more attention to urban rail,the backbone of urban transport traffic system,with the virtues of low-carbon characteristics of low energy consumption,high efficiency,large capacity,less area-covering,etc.However,due to the large distance between the stations,low accessibility,etc,this means of travelling needs to cooperate with other modes of transportation to ensure a sound distribution of passenger flow so as to deal with the problem of the "last mile trip".Therefore,walking and cycling-based slow traffic modes,being high flexible,energy saving,environmental friendly,etc.,have once again returned to the public view.With the rapid development of motorization in cities,the right of urban slow walkers has been violated by the vehicle traffic and the environment is getting worse.Thus,it is an inevitable process for the slow traffic to catch the attention of the policy makers and planners.Taking the urban rail transit in Xi'an as an example,firstly,the paper analyzes the ways of cooperation between various means of transportation based on travel chain,and reveals the importance of slow traffic in solving the problems of "last mile" and traffic pollution.On the basis of exploring the walking and bicycling environment,the paper discusses the influence of the main factors of walking and bicycling transfer to urban rail transit.Through the RP and SP surveys and the questionnaire,the paper analyzes the three main kinds of access modes of Xi'an urban rail transit.Combined with the MNL model,this paper builds an access mode choice model.The model is calibrated and tested by the Trans CAD software and the significant influencing factors of the choice of rail transit mode were selected.Through the adjustment of the level of a significant influencing factor in the two environments,the improved probability of selection of the connection mode is obtained.It is found that the traveler who originally used the bus to connect to the pedestrian environment and the bicycle environment has improved Walking and cycling connections change.Based on this proposed rationalization proposals,hope that through their own efforts to guide residents to participate in green travel to provide some reference.
