With the development of the automobile industry,the passive safety performance of the vehicle is also rising.It has been gradually changed from the initial protection of the occupants' safety to reduce the damage to occupants.According to a large number of domestic and foreign automobile traffic accidents in recent years,the statistical studies have shown that the collision accidents have a large proportion in all accidents.Low-speed rear-end collision is easy to be ignored,the incidence of such accidents is very high but it has not been taken seriously because of the small number of casualties.In recent years,the accident statistics show that the incidence of whiplash injury is very high in low velocity collisions,and it may cause long-term neck injury which has brought a heavy burden to individuals and the society.In the rear-end collision of the vehicle,the occupant's neck is often damaged by the whiplash,which can cause a variety of diseases.As an important part of the occupant restraint system,the car seat plays an important role in protecting the safety of the occupants and reducing whiplash injury.The main purpose of this paper is to verify the reliability of the FEA model of the seat,and analyze and discuss the main factors which affect the neck injury of the automobile rear end collision,and put forward the security measures for rear end collision.According to the domestic and foreign related regulations and research data,the FEA model includes the BioRID II dummy and the car floor FEA model,and so on.Then the calculation results are used to analyze the experiment,and the FEA model is confirmed to be accurate and reliable.Finally,this paper analyzes the improvement of the seatback stiffness,headrest stiffness,the backset and the other aspects of the neck injury.The results show that the NIC value and the My value of the neck lost some points.Reasonably distributing the seatback stiffness and the value of the backset and increasing the stiffness of the headrest can reduce the relative motion of the dummy chest and the head.It is an effective method to reduce whiplash injury and improve the score of whiplash test.The FEA model of the car seat is proved to be accurate.On the basis of the results of the FEA analysis,the reasons for losing some scores are analyzed and some improvements are also made.The research results of this paper have some guiding significance for the development and design of the seat.The research methods and the conclusions of this paper can be used for further research and reference in related fields.
