| Car crash is a common traffic accident.About 30% of car crashes are rear-end collisions.In the rear-end collision process,car seats and headrests are important support devices for protecting the human body.However,the collision between the human body and the seat in the rear-end collision is a very complicated process.The skeleton,foaming,covering and headrest of the seat are factors that affect the performance of the whiplash.It is very expensive to optimize the seat directly by the whiplash test to meet the customer’s requirements.The multi-round test cost and long development cycle are difficult for the seat company,so the computer simulation Early participation in technology is particularly urgent.The use of simulation technology to solve the whiplash test problem still faces many challenges.The difficulty lies in the complexity of the simulation model.A large number of materials nonlinearity,contact nonlinearity,fit clearance and welding have a great impact on the results.If the problems encountered in simulation technology are solved,it will play a crucial role in the whiplash test research.In this paper,three aspects of research work were carried out.Firstly,a large number of whiplash test simulations were carried out by using simulation software.The metal,foam nonlinear materials and contact parameters of the seat were corrected several times,and the benchmark was obtained by whiplash test.The result of good agreement is that the whiplash test simulation can well guide the development of seat whiplash performance.Secondly,through the simulation technology,the key factors of the seat were systematically analyzed,and the law of the influence of these key factors on the results of the whiplash test was obtained.Finally,based on the above two research results,the CA01 project with lower scores in the original whiplash test was optimized,so that the seat whiplash test score finally met the customer’s requirements,and verify that the key factors affect the whiplash test results can be used as the basis for the development of whiplash performance.Due to the complexity of the car seat whiplash test,the current research in this field is mainly concentrated in joint venture or foreign seat companies.Most domestic autonomous seat companies are still weak in this field and cannot effectively improve the performance of seat whiplash.In order to meet the requirements of customers,most high-quality projects have higher requirements for the whiplash of the seats.These enterprises can not get high-quality projects and ultimately hinder the development of the company.This paper systematically studies the performance of the whiplash of the car seat,and obtains the influence of the key factors of the car seat on the whiplash test results.These conclusions can be used by the engineering staff of the same industry,especially suitable for small and medium-sized seat companies with weak research and development capabilities. |
