The development level of truck technology is closely related to economic development,the truck company have to do something for product upgrading as national economy transformation and upgrading.Lightweight is one of the development trends of the technology of truck,the technology of lightweight plays an important role in fuel economyl,efficient transportation,vehicle safety and so on.As the main bearing parts of the truck,the frame plays a very important role in bearing,carryover force and torque,light weight of frame is the important parts of the Lightweight technology.The weight of the frame is around 15% to 20% of the whole truck manufacturing by the domestic companies while the number is only 10% in International truck maker,So it's necessary for domestic companies to design light weight frame because of the overweight of the frame.This thesis is based on the designing of the light weight frame,The material,the design safety factor,stress condition and the form of the fitting are chosen by the need of frame material,working condition,the force of the system,system connection and so on.Through the research of the frame from the first three heavy truck company manufacturing frame in Europe,we find relation between the section and flexural coefficient which give the suggestion to choose the flexural strength of the frame.An optimization method based on using of the truck is proposed to the frame to differentiate stiffness.Then,we choose the frame stiffness according to the using of the truck and Suspension stiffness.This thesis is based on the basic method and steps of frame designing,First,determine the frame width and the form of widening the frame,then,locate the place of width and determine the positioning form used in positioning.Secondly,according to the results of calculation by FRAMI to determine the section of longitudinal beam and select local strengthening scheme for longitudinal beam strengthening,then,determine the standard hole form and location.Finally,the position of the cross beams in the frame layout is determined and the beam of Transmission which have quality problem is designed specially by analyzing the stress of the beam characteristics.This thesis offer the working and decision conditions for designing CAE analysis and bench testing,After CAE analysis and bench testing,The light weight frame is satisfied with the design requirements and the weight loss effect is desired.
