In recent years,the scale and efficiency of construction industry in China has been a rapid development.It's huge but not strong with the informatization shortage in projects,the limitation in design,construction and management processes.It mainly displays in the delay of construction,the inefficiency of project,lack of coordination and safety misadventure.Bridge project as an important infrastructure construction,holds the extremely important status in the whole construction.With complex structure and high control accuracy in bridge project,more attention should be paid in the safety and the quality of this construction.Comparing to other projects,the main environment of the bridge-construction-based industry is more complex and including more majors and their combination.These high demands can often result in the information dissever in majors and organizations.Thus the extensive management can no longer serve the producing and managing demands in construction.Bridge project is badly in need of the aid of information technology,providing the auxiliary support for the construction process,to improve the safety and economy of it.BIM(Building Information Modeling)is a 3D Digital Model based new mode,which can collect information from any participants and any stages of the whole industry,then manage every information in its lifecycle.In this paper,based on a summary of the related theory and practice on BIM and virtual construction at home and board,integrating the existing BIM model software,fusing the existing bridge construction theory with BIM technology,the virtual construction technology frame and the construction application process based on BIM are put forward.According to the construction progress and the requirements of application,it carries out the BIM virtual construction application research mainly from the following several aspects: 1)creating the visualization analysis model of construction by stages in the Autodesk Navisworks Manage software platform and establishing collision detection sub information model for the construction drawing design;2)combining with the construction organization process,establishing a4 D construction process optimization sub information model to realize the construction process optimization;3)establishing a4 Dconstruction management information model to realize the dynamic management of the whole bridge construction process;4)developing building information model(BIM)application platform based on the cloud platform and graphics engineindependently,which integrates the bridge model with construction process,quality and construction monitoring information for information integration management,realizing implement project parties to work and manage construction site together.The research results of virtual construction technology of BIM were used in FengHuaJiang Bridge Project,turningitinto three-dimensional cooperative way based on BIM technology to deepen the application of BIM model,whichcan realize drawing review,design optimization,prefabricated construction control and so on.At the same time,relying on parameterized modelswith BIM methods,it used the 4D dynamic simulation to preview complex construction process,realizing optimization of organization of construction.The BIM application platform of FengHuaJiang Bridge Project was researched and developed independently.Based on it,construction process of bridge PC components can be managed and the progress,quality and safety management can be controlled.At the same time,it has realized information integration and sharing of the various project participants in different stages,satisfying the information using requirements of the various project participants and departments.The BIM technology opens up a new way in the bridge construction management in the FengHuaJiang Bridge Project,and greatly improves the management and information level in projects,boosts the productivity into a new stage.
