With the rapid development of China Economy,the construction market has put forward a huge demand,but also for the construction industry to provide a good space for development.Therefore,the emergence of BIM technology(architectural information model)is inevitable.Since the ministry of housing and urban-rural development issued the 2011-2015 outline for the informatization development of construction industry,BIM has been included into the important content of the informatization standard construction,which has started the prelude of the development of BIM technology in China.The emergence of BIM brings the second revolution to the whole engineering construction field,which not only makes the existing technological progress,but also indirectly changes the production management and organization mode.This paper expounds the concept of BIM,application value and the application way,application background and the development tendency and the application of BIM technology in engineering construction,etc.,and aiming at the disadvantages of traditional construction industry,put forward the BIM technology application in the engineering construction,the method of the BIM technology directly applied to practical engineering design and construction and operations of late.In this paper,with "Changchun Longxiang business center project" as the research object,this paper expounds the BIM technology application in the construction general contracting project and implementation method,mainly introduced the BIM technology in the application and study of mechanical and electrical construction stage,the application of BIM technology and cloud platform and research,the combination of BIM technology and VR,MR application and research,based on BIM technology to create site overview of wisdom.In the electromechanical construction stage,by adopting BIM technology,not only collision inspection can be carried out in three-dimensional space,but also construction simulation can be carried out in four-dimensional space.4D construction schedule management,material management,virtual construction guidance,cost management and equipment operation and maintenance management can be carried out.In addition to improving efficiency,management efficiency and management process are optimized to achieve fine management.The application of BIM technology and cloud platform provides a smooth information delivery collaboration platform for the full cycle management of engineering project design,construction,management,operation and maintenance,fully sharing the information resources of engineering projects,and providing data support for the optimization and upgrading of project management.Combining BIM technology with VR and MR and utilizing VR and MR technology will make the information model more authentic and greatly improve the application effect of BIM.The intelligent site platform is created through BIM technology,and the construction site is connected with the BIM model.For the construction quality and safety problems,the platform can be directly used for feedback,so as to truly realize the application of comprehensive management of BIM technology.
