The special-shaped column,short for the special-shaped section frame column,doesn't refer to regular rectangular section but the column section.Based on the premise of meeting the reliability,it adopts forms like cross,L and T-shaped section according to the layout of buildings and the specific location of columns.Using the special-shaped column can expand the effective use of space,enhance the flexibility of layout and improve the visual effect of indoor space.Therefore,the special-shaped column is particularly suited to residential building and has been widely used in many provinces and cities like Tianjin.Scholars at home and abroad have done in-depth research into special-shaped columns.On the basis of predecessors' research results,this paper carries on the preliminary study into the mechanical behavior of reinforced concrete T-shaped columns.The main research content is as follows:(1)On the basis of the predecessors' test on the compression bearing capacity of the axis of special-shaped columns,the finite element model at the time when the compressed T-shaped concrete column is loaded on the axis is established in this paper.After analyzed by this model,the validity of the model on the basis of the truth that the finite element results are in good agreement with test results is proved in this paper.(2)By means of the model,a non-linear and three-dimensional finite element numerical simulation analysis on the mechanical performance of reinforced concrete T-shaped axial compression columns are presented in this paper,in which the mechanical performance affected by such parameters as slenderness ratio,concrete strength,the ratio of longitudinal reinforcement and the volume-stirrup ratio are discussed,and then some reasonable suggestions on the design and construction process are put forward according to the analysis result.(3)Via the model,a non-linear and three-dimensional finite element numerical simulation analysis on the mechanical property of reinforced concrete T-shaped eccentric compression columns are made in this paper,in which a preliminary criterion of the large and small eccentric compression are given,the position change of balanced eccentricity affected by such parameters as concrete strength,and in which the ratio of longitudinal reinforcement,the volume-stirrup ratio and slenderness ratio are probed,and at the same time those parameters' impact on the mechanical performance of reinforced concrete T-shaped eccentric compression columns are discussed under large eccentric compression and small eccentricity compression respectively,and then some rational suggestions on the design and the construction process are raised in accordance with the analysis result.
