In order to solve the reduction of fossil resources like coal and ecological environment pollution,which become more and more intense.The 13 th Five-year Plan has made it clear that we should vigorously develop the new energy and create pure Green energy structure.These years,under the study of many scholars,we made a big progress on wind power generation technology.But the volatility,intermittent,random and other characteristics of the wind power,resulting in its output power with anti-peak characteristics,which led to a higher rate of abandoned wind and serious energy waste.Therefore,this paper will analyze the operating characteristics of the wind farm,establishing mathematical model,and studying the influence of the output power of the grid-connected wind farm on the power grid.Firstly,based on the data that we collected from Datang wind farm in Jilin province,this paper makes a detailed study and analysis on the characteristics of the single unit in the wind farm,the fluctuation characteristics and the wind speed and power difference between each wind turbine,and the calculation formula of the power fluctuation of each unit and the difference of each unit is deduced.Secondly,compared with the wind speed-power curve of the actual wind farm in Datang and the wind speed-power curve of the wind turbine standard,the maximum probability of the wind speed is calculated by dividing the wind power,and the actual wind speed curve.Based on the concept of average wind speed of wind farm the mathematical model of wind farm is established,and the reason of error in traditional wind farm modeling can be analyzed,and proving that using the method of average wind speed to evaluate the whole wind farm with single wind turbine is effective.At last,this paper analyzes the main factors which influence the grid capacity of wind farm,and through the power simulation software PSASP to carried out a detailed analysis about the Jilin western power grid transient characteristics and stability characteristics while the wind farm interconnected with power grid.In the case of ensuring the stable and safe operation of the system,the maximum grid capacity of the wind farm is calculated.
