Research On The Architectural Design Of Elderly Care Institutions With Medical-nursing Care Integrated Mode Based On The Investigation Of Nanjing

The demographic dividend brought by the huge population and special Chinese demographic structure has been disappearing in recent years.Family and social dependency ratio increased year by year as a result of population aging,which will lead to less family care provided for the elderly.Due to the imperfect social elderly support system and low acceptability of institutional care in China,only few people choose residential senior care facility as their future living location.Family cannot provide sufficient care for the elderly,especially for the sick ones.The elderly care institution with medical-nursing integrated mode can provide integrated health care and medical care service for the seniors,which is a feasible option for the seniors and their families.Taking Nanjing as an example,the current situation of institutional care of the elderly in Nanjing was analyzed.Taking the seniors and those in age care institutions as research object,the willingness to live in senior care facilities and reasons were surveyed.The demand of seniors was surveyed from five aspects,living requirements,daily activities,psychological needs,medical care and living environment.Based on the comprehensive analysis of the characteristics of 210 pension institutions in Nanjing,the characteristics of institutional selection,overall layout,external environment and plane layout of 13 selected pension institutions and one rehabilitation hospital were summarized.On the basis of the current demand situation of the elderly and the service supply of the elderly care institutions,the spatial demand of the elderly was analyzed from the characteristics of the elderly,and the design suggestions of living space,public space and medical rehabilitation space were given.On this basis,the spatial combination and the process of the nursing and nursing institutions were optimized and the design strategies were put forward.The research of this paper can provide the necessary reference for the construction of the domestic pension service system,provide the theoretical basis for alleviating the pension problem and enrich the theory of medical-nursing integrated mode.
