Research On The Design Strategy Of Day Care Department Based On The Full-time Care Facilities For The Elderly

With the increasing aging of population and the development of social economy in China,the traditional family pension and institutional pension are gradually unable to meet the current diversified pension needs,and community support for elderly care is needed.The day care center for the elderly is the main type of community elderly care facilities in the past.Because of its single function,the service content does not match the actual needs of family pension and community care,resulting in a high vacancy rate and waste of resources.Therefore,combining the functions of "full-time care" and "day-care" will become a vital trend in the development of community elderly care facilities.The day care department is set up in the community full-time care facilities with relatively perfect functions,so that the "day care" relies on the "full-time care" and can be shared with the resources of the full-time care facilities.This is an important way to solve the current dilemma of community pension,but also supported by national policies.The research object of this paper is the day care department that relies on the fulltime care facility for the elderly",and the reference object is Japan with the same cultural origin and a well-developed care facility system.This article systematically sorts out and analyzes the relevant theories of day care in Japan,including the development trend of day care services for the elderly?type system of Pension facilities and its relationship with day care?the similarities and differences of day care services provided by various types of facilities?types and characteristics of day care services?the classification system for the elderly and the service object for day care?day care service process?The overall spatial layout mode of the day care department and facilities.Combined with the analysis of typical cases,some lessons worth learning are drawn.Through the investigation and in-depth analysis of typical domestic cases,the current characteristics and existing problems of the day care department relying on the elderly full-time care facilities in China are summarized,and then a comparative study of the types of cases in China and Japan is conducted.Then,combined with the experience of Japan and the situation of China,it puts forward suggestions on the service object,service content and service mode of day care,and the selection principle of the appropriate mode for the overall spatial layout of day care department and facilities.Finally,it summarizes in detail the function configuration,space layout,and circulation design strategy of the day care department as "relatively independent","partially shared",and "completely shared" facilities and the common design strategy of each functional space in day care department.The research of this paper will provide reference for the future design practice.
