| Pipe connection has been widely applied in the fields of automotive,air pipe system and other engineering,which needs clamps and connector for various connection applications to provide effective sealing and fastening between metal and rubber pipe,as well as plastic products etc.The ear stepless clamp is a special type which mostly applied in the region of hose connector for automobile.The automatic production line of high-performance clamp which operations including in slit,de-burr and round forming were manipulated by special machining tool.At present,the capacity of high-speed automatic production lines for stepless ear clamps can get to 70 pcs per minute,particularly some can reach 90 pcs per minute.With the increase of the clamp demand,its completely reliance on experience of operator in trial and error adjustments,at this case of the machining process problems is highlight,and the production lines can be not meet the requirements,there is an urgent necessary to develop the process of manufacturing for improve productive efficiency.Based on the analysis of the blanking and round forming process of the special clamp,a synchronous composite process scheme was proposed for fabrication of the special clamp.According to the clamp shape and new synchronous composite process scheme,blanking process and its progressive dies of the special clamp were designed.With second developed platform of Auto CAD software,parametric design procedure for stamping dies and special clamps were developed,and the stamping dies for the serial special clamps were designed.Round forming process of the special clamp was optimized,and the round forming equipment was designed,including process parameters,mechanism and profile curve of cam of round forming.By using the newly designed process,die and equipment,the process efficiency of special clamp manufacturing was increased to 90 pcs per minute.This study on blanking and round forming process improvement of the special clamp was based on manufacturing practice of and expert experience,it is also valuable and referential to the process development of other special clamps. |
