With the rapid development of communication technology,the popularity of digital products,mobile video products have been integrated into people's daily life,requirements of the waiting experience has gradually improved.On the one hand,with the rapid development and popularization of 4G network,the users face the objective waiting time is getting shorter and shorter.On the other hand,the design and research of experience along with the Internet products into the hearts of a large consumer groups.The quality of the experience determines the user's satisfaction with the product,but also ultimately determines the commercial value of the product or system.For online video playback products,video waiting experience has become a key factor in product competition.In the face of the contradictions of the waiting time caused by objective video transmission delay and the user's growing high-quality user experience,on the basis of the objective waiting time,it is very important for interactive designers to shorten the user's perception waiting time by means of design.Therefore,the purpose of this paper is to clarify the user video waiting experience in the absence of design,obtain the means and characteristics of the current video products commonly used to alleviate the negative waiting experience,and to provide reference and guidance for the user experience design of the video waiting scene.This paper studies the video waiting experience from the theory of user experience,cognitive psychology and design theory.Based on the existing user experience research method and the time distance estimation model,summarize the waiting experience rule.Combining this rule with the characteristics of the design means,get the theoretical basis of that design can shorten the user time perception or reduce the negative emotions caused by waiting time.Subsequently,this theory is applied to the specific design practice.Based on the theoretical research and methods of the existing user experience,construct the method of waiting for experiential research.Introduce the theory of physiological signals and emotional satisfaction research methods into the study of video waiting experience research,and design experiments to get users waiting experience without design participation.On this basis,compared to the difference of the user waiting experience with design and found that the video buffer waiting tolerance is greater than the video lag-time,design effect of the user waiting experience is best in the middle waiting time,and effective ways to enhance the user experience include stills background,load dynamic,and showing the progress of the information contained etc.At the end of the article,the design practice of video waiting experience was carried out.Under the guidance of research results,according to the different scenes of waiting,the initial buffer and the lag-time,design for video waiting scene holistically and systematically.So that can make the initial immutable design strategy into the mutative design strategy with the video waiting time,and finally verified the feasibility and guiding significance of the design strategy from the design practice.The significance of this paper is that through the derivation of theory and the extraction of experiments,the optimal application relationship of video waiting scene design is established.At the same time,it discusses how to combine the subjective and objective research methods(subjective score and physiological signal measurement)to conduct user experience research,and put forward the design and research strategy with practical guidance significance for interactive designers and user experience researchers,also provides a solution for the video wait experience design.
