Research On Protection And Development Of Ancient Stage In Meishan Area

Meishan area is in the central of Hunan province.From ancient times to the present,this area has the custom of singing traditional(Chinese)opera.There is a great variety of traditional(Chinese)opera in Merishan area,which produced Meishan ancient stage.The ancient stage is the material carrier of opera culture,they always supplement each other.In the old times,Meishan ancient stage is used for sacrifice and amusement,which offered a place of spiritual and entertainment.It's as a special architecture form,which combined the architectural art and architecture technique perfectly,contains special local culture,which is a living fossil for Meishan opera culture.But with the decline of opera culture of Meishan area,the ancient stage also waned.In addition,with the development of theater and the damage of ancient stage,they are decrease constantly.So the work of protect ancient stage is extremely urgent.The thesis chooses Meishan ancient stage as the object of study,which get a comprehensive overview of its production and development.To analysis its form and decoration,based on current problem to proposed countermeasure for protection and development.Making the ancient stage in Meishan culture park as a case for empirical study.This thesis is divided into five parts.The first part is elaborate study origins,define related concepts and set research contents and method.The seconde part is summarized some documents and by field research for analysis the origin,development and decline of Meishan ancient stage.To classified and find out regularities of distribution of the existing ancient stage of Meishan area.The third section is choose six representative ancient stages in Meishan area as a case study,to analysis their architectural form and decoration and try to find some universal character.The fourth part is focus on analysis the current problem of Meishan ancient stage,to make the problem as a basis for proposed protective principle and development countermeasure.The final chapter is make the ancient stage of Meishan culture park as a practical case,by study its background,strategy,technique,feature and meaning to provide re-construction method for ancient stage design.
