With the rapid development of china's economy,requirements of the quality of people's living conditions and comfort is rising.The steel structure building with its light weight,high strength,large space,good anti-seismic performance,convenient construction and construction and can be recycled to be accepted by people,especially in the past twenty years,the steel structure industry ushered in a broad market for development.Considering the existing beam column joints,the research focuses on plane joints,in the actual structure,the beam column joints are mostly in the space force state.Because of the complexity of the earthquake action,any one of the directions in the space may become the main direction of earthquake action,the seismic performance of the spatial joint and the single direction force plane joint are different,this paper focuses on the research of stress in the steel corner columns under biaxial loads of nodes.Based on the experimental study of 3 spatial corner nodes and the 2 plane side column nodes.Through the finite element software ABAQUS finite element verification on the test firstly,to determine the reliability of finite element model.Then 3 different loading methods are adopted: Corner nodes using the loading methods of loading of two beams in one direction and double beam reverse loading,Side column joints using the loading methods of single beam loading.Finally,by changing the parameters of beam column joints,extended parameter analysis,including geometric parameters on t he beam column: wall thickness of steel pipe column,beam cross section height,the web thickness of beams,the flange width and thickness of beams,external strengthened ring overhang length.the main conclusions are as follows:ABAQUS finite element model is established with 5 node test specimen hysteretic curves and skeleton curves are highly consistent,initial stiffness,yield point and the plastic load error is less than 10%,the accuracy and reliability of the established finite element model has high.In the loading process,H-shaped steel beam to square steel corner column connection with external strengthened ring had no be aring capacity degradation phenomenon,the node shows a strong plastic deformation ability.Under the action of double beam loading,corner node loading plane beam and loading out of plane beam bearing capacity,energy dissipation and stiffness of mechanical properties such as consistency,no significant difference was found.The bearing capacity,energy dissipation and stiffness of the beam under the same direction loading and the single beam loading are basically the same,which are higher than the double beam reverse loading.Effect of 3 k inds of loading mode node occurred shear failure,the failure modes of 3 nodes are compared,under the same direction loading of two beams,the shear deformation in the nodal domain and the buckling degree of the stiffener ring are the most,the shear deformation in the nodal domain is minimal under the condition of single beam loading.The energy consumption,bearing capacity,initial stiffness and failure mode of the joints are studied by changing the control parameters,The results show that the wall thickness of steel pipe column,beam height,beam width and thickness and the external strengthened ring overhang length of node ring bearing capacity and initial stiffness,shear stress nephogram and deformation domain nodes have different degree of influence.the deformation of corner column joint under the action of external loads Included,buckling deformation of external reinforcement ring,beam flange warping and the shear buckling deformation.To reduce the beam web thickness,increases the stress of beam flange and beam web,but it has little effect on the mechanical properties of corner column joint can be ignored.
