Water culture is an indispensable part of Chinese traditional culture,and Liangshan area is the basis and source of the production and cultivation of water culture.At present,the acceleration of urban construction makes the phenomenon of cultural convergence,so that the development and continuation of our local culture has been affected.This paper takes Liangshan tourist scenic spot as an example,combined with water culture to study how to inherit and develop landscape design.This paper first studies the background of the water culture and the research status.Secondly,from the design point of view,the construction of the Water Margin Culture Scenic Spot is expounded,and the water culture is reflected in the landscape.Finally,combined with respect for the principle of history,to maintain the principle of regional characteristics,the principle of innovation and focus on the principle of tourists experience,in-depth mining of water culture content,to extract a more typical water culture into the landscape design,improve the cultural atmosphere of the landscape And artistic atmosphere,making the landscape can really create a cultural landscape with folk characteristics of the landscape.
