Risk Management Research During The Construction Phase Of Road Infrastructure In Vietnam

Road infrastructure is extremely important to the economic development of any country.In fact,the road is smooth,the economy will also develop,the roads connecting the areas are also smooth,the developed economy brings all aspects of life to grow.Investment in the infrastructure project requires large amount of capital due to large project,each small mistake can affect the progress of the project.Construction of an infrastructure work is divided into three phases:before,during and after construction.For small construction projects that do not require high technology with small works,low investment,easy maintenance and easy change,the construction process is relatively simple.However for road infrastructure works which are large works,have large investment,long construction time,any mistake before,during and after construction will lead to many unpredictable problems and consequences that need large capital,manpower and time to overcome.As a result,for the construction of infrastructure,it is necessary to well control possible risks.This thesis is mainly focused on researching,summarizing,analyzing the phase of construction of road infrastructure in Vietnam and comparing the current status of construction of domestic and foreign infrastructure.The thesis has pointed out the concept and definition of the risk of road infrastructure work.By analyzing and comparing construction information of domestic and foreign infrastructure works,the thesis has analyzed common risks and identified risk control model,risk handling model and risk management model.Through these models,an assessment of the effectiveness of the models has been conducted.The thesis has analyzed and assessed the natural environment,demographic status and socio-economic situation and future development directions of Cao Bang province as a basis for in-depth study of the risks that will be encountered during the construction of Cao Bang Province's infrastructure work.Through the risk management model combined with practical application in Cao Bang province,the practicality and effectiveness of risk management models have been assessed.
