Research On The Whole Process Cost Management Of Infrastructure Projects In Manufacturing Enterprises

Manufacturing industry is the main body of the national economy,the foundation of building a country,the instrument of rejuvenating a nation and the essence of strengthening a state.Since the beginning of industrial civilization in the middle of the 18 th century,the vicissitude of many powerful countries in the world and the rise of China have repeatedly proved that if the manufacturing industry is not enough strong,the country and nation will not be puissant.At a result,to enhance the competitiveness of manufacturing,industry is the only way to promote national power,ensure national security and consequently become a powerful country in the world.However,China's manufacturing industry still remains in the stage of original equipment manufacturer(OEM)compared with the advanced level in the world,and there are significant gaps in all sorts of aspects regarding as innovation capacity,research investment,scientific and technological competiveness etc.So it is extremely urgent to transform and upgrade to China's manufacturing industry.Furthermore,during the construction project cost management,the manufacturing enterprises only focus on the management of the cost audit instead of cost forecasting and formation when a project is completed.Additionally,the lack of attention and supervision can causes significantly increased cost and inefficient value for money.To relieve these issues,this paper give a good example of life cycle cost management for MD Global Innovation Center project.In the paper,different methods based on practical experience are applied,such as literature research,cases analysis,inductive and refining methods,to deeply investigate into the cost management phases referring to decision-making,design,trading,implementation and completion of MD group.Consequently,this paper puts forward the operable methods in the life cycle cost management of MD group infrastructure project by analyzing the problems of cost management in each stage.After analyzing the typical manufacturing enterprise-MD group,this paper finds that the manufacturing enterprise is mainly engaged in product manufacturing rather than management of infrastructure projects.In addition,the phenomenon of cost waste,insufficient personnel allocation and inadequate supervision is particularly obvious.And therefore,analysis of the implementation of whole-process cost management of infrastructure projects in manufacturing enterprises can help manufacturing enterprises to solve various problems existing in the process of infrastructure project management,and it is also of great help to establish a sound infrastructure cost management process.Moreover,the life cycle cost management is a continuous and dynamic management process,which transform the single post-control into the whole process management control and extends the cost management to the whole process of infrastructure projects.So,the project cost can be saved more effectively,and the investment income of manufacturing enterprises can be maximized.All in all,this paper brings up some relevant strategies for the various issues which usually come up in the life cycle cost management of MD project,and this can provide some valuable references for more manufacturing enterprises in this field.
