With the rapid development of the national economy,China's auto industry has entered a stage of rapid growth,its important position in the national economy has been strengthened.According to statistics,the domestic market of new cars up to 160 balance in 2015.In order to adapt to the increasingly fierce competition in the current market,the major car companies hope to reduce the development costs of new cars and shorten the R&D and manufacturing cycle of new cars,and thus continue to promote the development of new cars speed,in order to achieve their own models in the market share.Mold design and manufacture of automotive design and manufacturing process is a very important stage.The design and manufacture of soft tooling molds is also an important step in the process of automobile R&D design.It is also an important factor that restricts the design cycle and cost of new vehicle research and development.The existing soft tooling mold manufacturing cycle is too long,poor quality and reliability,the emergence of this situation,and China's auto industry has a relatively late start.Therefore,in order to shorten the design and development cycle of soft tooling mold and reduce the design and manufacturing costs,improve the reliability and stability of soft tooling mold,soft tooling mold must be modular design.On the basis of a large number of reading and research on the design of modular design method and product platform,this paper puts forward a modular design method based on axiomatic design and product platform.The article takes the axiomatic design theory as product modular design The paper puts forward a new method of product modularization based on axiomatic design and product platform,taking the user as the starting point of product function demand.In this paper,the Kano model is used to analyze the functional requirements of the users.Based on the functional requirements of the users,the hierarchical decomposition of the axiomatic design and the "Z" zigzag mapping method are used to divide the product functions into product design parameters,The structure design matrix is established.By analyzing the correlation between the design parameters in terms of function,geometry and physics,the product design correlation matrix is established to realize the division of the soft tooling mold module.The product module is the prerequisite and the foundation of the product platform.The product platform is the core content of the product family design.The modular design of the product family and the product has a great relationship.The modular design of the product can divide the product into common modules and Personalized module,in the product module division,product platform,product family relationship between the elaboration,the product module based on the division,introduced the product platform design process,starting from the user needs,analysis of the user demand for soft tooling,A clear tooling tool design platform design tasks,the product module is defined as a common module and personalized module,through the common module and personalized module combination configuration,can be combined to meet the needs of different customer products,and finally completed the construction of the soft tooling mold products Platform.
