In recent years,the high speed growth of China's economy has accelerated the process of urbanization.The construction of small towns has developed rapidly and the scope of tap water supply has expanded.The demand for urban water supply exceeds the capacity of pipe network distribution.The result is that the pipe network flow increases,the flow rate increases,the hydraulic pressure loss of pipe network increases sharply,and the water supply hydraulic pressure of some pipelines is insufficient.At the same time,the construction of urban infrastructure such as water supply network reconstruction has led to the lack of unified planning of the pipe network design,and increased the operation cost and difficulty of the pipe network management.Therefore,we must find a feasible method for optimal transformation the network of medium-sized cities and towns in order to solve the problems and optimize the water supply network in medium-sized towns in our country.In this paper,the water supply network model is analyzed theoretically.After comparing the domestic and foreign water supply network model simulation software,the EPANETH software is selected to simulate the water supply network because of its rapid and accurate calculation,wide range of adaptation,strong display,and support for secondary development.This paper analyzes the reasons for the existing problems in the operation of the pipe network,and evaluates each optimal transformation scheme,and choose a more rational transformation.To explore a set of engineering theory methods for optimizing the existing pipe network in small and medium-sized towns is of great value to the optimal transformation of the existing network.In this paper,a hydraulic model of water supply network in Lechang city is established by using EPANETH software.First of all,software delay simulation function is adopted to generate the simulated delay node hydraulic pressure of each node of the pipe network rapidly,and the hydraulic simulation of the pipe network is checked by comparing the 24 hour hydraulic data.Then simulation of network operation condition is carried out,and the pipe network accident is checked.At the same time,the fire control check point ofpipe network is quickly confirmed by using EPANETH software,and the whole city of Lechang City pipe network fire check and fire water supply evaluation is completed accurately and rapidly.On the basis of fire condition simulation,this paper studies the influence of fire occurrence in small towns on the water supply condition of downstream nodes.Through the simulation,the software quickly finds out the nodes of the insufficient pressure of the tap and the unit head loss over the large pipe section.In view of the existing problems in the pipe network,two sets of reconstruction schemes are put forward.The simulation analysis of the transformation scheme is carried out.A multi-objective decision evaluation system is established to evaluate the simulation results.A comprehensive analysis is made from the aspects of technology,economy,safety,reliability and implementation difficulty.The subjective qualitative evaluation is transformed into objective quantitative calculation and the optimal scheme is selected according to the digital calculation results.
