With the rapid development of container transportation in the world in recent years,the annual throughput of container terminal is increasing.How to reasonable scheduling of loading and unloading and transporting machine,which greatly improve the operation efficiency has become an urgent problem need to solve in the current terminal management decision.The truck is the most common transport machinery in China in container terminals,it runs beyond the yard,realizing the effective link between the machine for loading and unloading.The scheduling problem is the bottleneck to improve the efficiency of container terminal operations,which influences the operation efficiency and operation cost of container terminal.So how to solve the problem of trucks distributed operation,how to effectively use the truck resources and cooperative scheduling,save the cost in the same time,is the main objective of this paper.This paper studies the scheduling problem between different terminals under the same port.First,a systematic review at home and abroad on the truck scheduling problem between the terminals had been made.Through the investigation of Dalian Port Container Terminal Co.Ltd.,based on the relevant literature on the container terminal,the truck scheduling and coordination theory,this paper had acquaintance the operation flow and the present situation of the scheduling,and collected a large number of relevant data,and further analysis of the problems for existing scheduling mode had been made.Then,using the space-time network,with the goal of minimum scheduling operation cost,an integer programming model is constructed.Finally,take the three container terminals in Dalian Port as an example with genetic algorithm to verify the validity of the model.Results show that through the integration,collaborative scheduling can avoid the serious waste of truck resources,improve the utilization rate of the trucks but also can effectively reduce the container transit operation cost.
