Hydrypower is the conversion of water into electricity,through the power system for the user.Frequency and voltage are the main indexes to measure the power quality,so it is necessary to ensure the stability of the hydro generator in the controllable range to ensure the power quality.The system is not only a high-order,time-varying,complex nonlinear system,but also it is,affected by the variability of the external environment and the uncertainty of the internal dynamics.So the control of hydraulic turbine governing system is very difficult.In this paper,according to the limitation of conventional PID control,BP neural PID control model is introduced,and the feasibility and superiority of the control model is verified by a simple example;Meantime,the model of hydraulic turbine governing system is modeled based on the condition of small fluctuation,and the influence of the parameters on the dynamic characteristics of the hydro turbine governing system is simulated by MATLAB/SIMULINK;Then,using the comprehensive characteristic curve of hydraulic turbine,the turbine flow,torque and other characteristic data were simulated by MATLAB software;At last,the model of BP neural network control system of PID is established,which is used to simulate the frequency disturbance and load disturbance.The experimental results show that the BP neural PID controller has better dynamic performance in the time of adjustment and the stability of the system.
