With the development of integrated electronic technology in the aviation industry,the presentation of the information elements of the man-machine interface of aircraft cockpit is increasingly digitized.However,the current man-machine interface information of most aircraft cockpit is still not highly integrated.And it with crowded information layout and complex human-computer interaction characteristics.In order to improve those current aircraft cockpit interface problems,this paper will study the conceptual design of human-machine interface of aircraft cockpit,which can improve the user's cognitive efficiency and reduce the difficulty of operation.As the Boeing 737-type aircraft is one kind of the most successful and most common civil aviation commercial aircraft,the results of the study have wide applicability if take Boeing 737-type aircraft as the object of this study.In this paper,the development of the Boeing 737 aircraft cockpit man-machine interface and its current interface design were studied and analyzed before starting the design of the Boeing 737 aircraft cockpit man-machine interface.It was found that the Boeing 737 aircraft cockpit man-machine Interface design gradually to digital interface design trends.Through the analysis,we found that the reason of such a development trend is that the user experience of digital interface have advantage over the traditional physical control-based interface.Therefore,this article took the concept of digital control of the aircraft cockpit man-machine interface design as a main idea to finish the Boeing 737 aircraft cockpit man-machine interface concept design.Based on the study of the characteristics of digital interface design,this paper suggested the relevant design principle of digital man-machine interface of the aircraft cockpit.Around the newly proposed digital man-machine interface design principles,first of all,the current information architecture was integrated,that is,the original information elements having similar function were integrated.Then,referring to the ideology of the social network theory,the relationship between the information element and the degree of the information were analysed based on the Boeing 737 conventional flight task process,that is,the analysis of the relationship between the each of the information element and the importance of the information element in the conventional mission relationship network.The information layout design of the cockpit man-machine interface was designed by referring to the analysis result of the human efficacy of the driver's operation area and the analysis result of the information element relation and the importance degree.Later,the main two-dimensional control interface was designed,and the cognitive feasibility was verified by the questionnaire.The representative operation page was design in deep,and the rationality of the design was verified by comparing the operation efficiency of the interface before and the interface designed.Finally,based on the two complexity in two flight task of the conventional flight mission,the rationality of the concept design was verified by comparing the complexity of the physical path of the interface before and the interface designed.
