As a part of rural passenger transport system,town-village transit plays an important role in satisfying the travel demand of rural residents,promoting the communication between towns and serving the construction of new countryside.At present,the research on the systematic analysis of the operating efficiency and sustainable development countermeasures of town-village transit are less.Therefore,it is necessary to study the main influencing factors of operating efficiency and the development countermeasure of town-village transit,and to seek the way to improve the operational efficiency and promote its sustainable development.Based on the background and significance of the study on the operational efficiency of town-village transit,the definition and main influencing factors of operation efficiency of town-village transit on the basis of relevant research and practice summary at home and abroad ware explained,that is,network planning,station layout and departure frequency optimization.Combined with the actual survey data,the passenger flow and distribution characteristics of town-village transit ware systematically analyzed.The method of network planning and station layout of town-village transit ware discussed.In the research of town-village transit network planning,the shortest path model and the Hamilton loop model were established by adopting the layout idea of "district wiring-optimization of the route network method".The population and the road condition ware taken full account in the model.The enumeration algorithm was used to solve the initial route of each partition.In the study of station layout,the classification,location principle and setting procedure of the town-village transit station were clarified.In addition,the evaluation index and route adjustment method were determined.Taking the town-village transit planning of Zhixi,Jintan as an example,the parameters such as travel time,walking time,ease of travel,etc.,of the town-village transit network obtained by the model compared with the actual network parameters were more conducive to improving the operating efficiency of the town-village transit.The optimization method of the departure frequency of town-village transit was studied in this paper.The optimization model to maximize the weighted summation of passenger travel time efficiency and cost-to-profit ratio of town-village transit was established,which took into account the influence of departure frequency of town-village transit on the travel mode selection of passenger.And the genetic algorithm was used to solve the model.The No.291 town-village transit in Zhonglou District,Changzhou was taken as a case study,the departure frequency was found.Besides,the departure timetable was set according to the relevant policies and the travel characteristics of local rural residents along the route.Finally,it was found that the average passenger waiting time corresponding to the departure frequency solved by model was greatly reduced,which was conducive to improving the operating efficiency of the town-village transit.Based on the analysis of the present situation and existing problems of town-village transit in Jiangsu Province,some corresponding countermeasures and suggestions to government,industry authorities,public transport enterprises and passengers ware given.
